Museum Passes

Most museum passes are purchased by the Friends of the Library for use by Stoneham Library patrons. Passes circulate for one day only to Stoneham residents 18 years of age or older with a Stoneham library card in good standing unless otherwise indicated. Reservations cannot be made without a library card and can be made in person or by telephone. All passes must be picked up during library hours. In the event a patron cannot use a pass which has already been picked up, we ask that they make an effort to return it to the library before the reservation date so that others may use it.

Patrons also have the option of reserving passes online. You may choose a date up to 90 days in advance and must have your library card to use this service.

Single-use only passes:

Passes may be picked up 48 hours before your reservation date. Each pass is only valid for the day printed on the pass and therefore they do not have to be returned to the library after use.

Children's Museum, Boston

Admits up to 4 people, $3 per person

Museum of Fine Arts

Admits 2 people, $7 per person

New England Aquarium

Admits up to 4 people, $10.00 a person. Not available in the summer

Circulating Passes:

Circulating passes can be re-used throughout the year by library patrons and therefore, it is important that they be returned to the library in a timely manner. Weekday passes are available the day before your planned visit and must be returned the evening of your visit by returning it to the Main Desk or by using the outdoor book drop. Weekend passes must be picked up by Friday, 5pm in summer; Saturday 2pm during the school year (from Labor Day through Memorial Day). Weekend passes must be returned by Monday. Fines of $5.00 will be charged for overdue passes. Patrons will be charged for a new museum pass in the event that one is lost or damaged.

Discovery Museum

Admits up to 3 people at half price.

Massachusetts State Parks Parking Pass

This pass provides visitors unlimited day-use parking access to state park facilities within the DCR that charge a parking fee, with the exception of Nahant and Nantasket Beaches. For a list of facilities that charge a fee, please click here.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Admits 2 people, $5 per person

Sports Museum

Admits up to 6 people.

U.S.S. Constitution Museum

Admits up to 9 people for free.

Peabody Essex Museum

$5 each general admission for 2.

Zoo New England

$2 each general admission for 2 adults and 4 children, 10% discount in all Zoo New England gift shops and food concessions, discounts on "Wild Adventures" education programs, and express entry on high attendance days.
