Patrons can use the Online Catalog, to search and request items from Stoneham's collection as well as those of the other public, academic, and special libraries in communities of Northeastern Massachusetts belonging to the North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE). These libraries include Beverly, Danvers, Everett, Gloucester, Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Melrose, Peabody, Reading, Revere, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, Wakefield, and Winthrop as well as Bunker Hill Community College, Endicott College, Gordon College, Merrimack College, Middlesex Community College, Montserrat College of Art, North Shore Community College, Northern Essex Comunity College, Phillips Academy, Salem State College, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. As a Stoneham Public Library patron, you may use your card to borrow materials at any of these libraries. In addition, if you do not wish to travel to another library you may request other libraries send their items to Stoneham for you to pick up.
PIN Information
You will need a PIN to access certain information on the online catalog such as your account or to request or renew materials. You can get a PIN by visitng the library.
Changing a PIN
1. You can access information about your library account by clicking on "Login to My Account" on the home page of the online catalog.
2. Enter your library card number and current PIN in the appropraite boxes.
3. Click on the button reading "Modify your PIN" and follow the instructions as given.
