The Road Show is Headed to Stoneham!

The Mass. Memories Road Show is a state-wide digital humanities project that documents Massachusetts history through family photographs and stories. Now, in partnership with the Stoneham Public Library and local community organizations, the Road Show is coming to Stoneham and you are invited to preserve your memories and take your place in Stoneham history.

Bring 2 or 3 photographs that are important to you to the library on the day of the Road Show. They will be digitally scanned and returned, and then you'll have the opportunity to be the star of a digital videotape where you can tell “the stories behind the photos.” The images and video will then be indexed and incorporated into an online educational database at http://www.massmemories.net. Since its launch, the project has gathered more than 2,000 photographs and stories from across the state.
